Nostalgic photo of Malta's top nightlife spot in the '60s will make your eyes pop
You won't believe what 60 years can do to a place!

If there's one thing that Maltese people really love is a good outing with good friends, consuming delicious food in a buzzing atmosphere. It's no surprise that Paceville is a top spot for locals and tourists alike to let loose and have fun.

Younger generations only know (and remember) St Julian's in this light, yet the area looked nothing like it does today. A recently unearthed picture of the zone shows an idyllic and almost rural scene with fields still present and a cart being pulled by a donkey in the street.

The street in question is one of Paceville's main streets, with some claiming it could be the road now known as Wilga Street.
