The perfect finale!

As Malta’s Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe comes to a close, the occasion will be marked in true artistic style: with a powerful performance by ŻfinMalta, the National Dance Company.

To celebrate this milestone, ŻfinMalta will perform Mortal Heroes at the historic Palais des Fêtes in Strasbourg tonight at 7.30PM – a bold and immersive contemporary dance piece that delves into the themes of identity, resilience, and transformation. The work serves as both a tribute to Malta and Europe’s shared history, and a reflection on the enduring human spirit of renewal.

‘We are proud to be presenting Mortal Heroes in Strasbourg this November. This profound work, created especially for ŻfinMalta, delighted audiences in Malta earlier this year and will return to Valletta in 2026,’ shared ŻfinMalta’s Artistic Director, Matthew William Robinson. ‘We look forward to taking the work to Germany and Italy later this season, representing Malta proudly on the global stage.’

Camille Fenech

The performance promises to be visually captivating and deeply emotional, inviting audiences to reflect on both personal and collective transformation – a fitting finale to Malta’s tenure at the Council of Europe.

You can follow ŻfinMalta’s journey and future projects on Instagram, Facebook, and the official ŻfinMalta website.
