Jade Cini, top Maltese model holding the title of Miss Universe Malta, took to Facebook to ask her followers to pray for her father, Reggie Cini, who seems to be having health problems.

Over the years, Reggie made a name for himself as one of the country’s top goalkeepers, having played for Valletta, Sliema Wanderers, and even the Maltese National Team.

“Family is the only thing you don’t get to choose in life, and I think it’s meant to be that way – but blood is thicker than water and loyalty is something I cherish a lot,” Jade wrote on social media.

“So, despite our turbulent relationship and differences, I choose to stand by you in the worst of times, because that is family. I kindly ask everyone to keep my dad in their prayers and thoughts, as his health is at risk and things don’t seem promising; but I have faith in a fighter like you,” she continued.

Jade’s pleas were welcomed by a flood of support from her followers, with everyone wishing Reggie a speedy recovery.
