Marsaskala gets its own loop bus with new route connecting the entire town

Getting around Marsaskala has just become easier with a new circular bus route launched last weekend.

The 191 route starts and ends at the Sant’ Antnin bus stop and cover 30 other bus stops in the seaside town.

It will operate every half an hour, from 5am till 11:30pm, with smaller buses than the standard fleet.

This new service ties in neatly with a new three-storey underground park and ride facility that is being built at the former Sant’ Antnin waste treatment plant, as part of a plan to convert the area into a a public park.

If everything goes according to plan, the bus will also eventually connect people to the proposed ferry service between Marsaskala and Valletta.
