Arzella restaurant owner Christian Grech has been admitted to the ITU, after he was involved in a motorcycle accident in Marsalforn earlier this week. 

According to news reports, Christian suffered grievous injuries as a result of the accident. 

The popular restaurant owner, who also happens to turn 39 years old today, has received numerous messages of support from locals on social media, with a post by the restaurant announcing its temporary closure garnering hundreds of comments and reactions.

“Chris we want you back, you are strong and you will make it. The whole of Marsalforn is praying for you and for your loving family,” wrote one local in the comments section, joining many offering prayers, strength and well wishes.
