Tomorrow is the one year anniversary since Malta lost George Micallef – a veteran actor. Ahead of the anniversary, his brother Mario shared a tribute post today.

“I salute the memory of my brother George, who passed away a year ago. We will never forget you,” he said, captioning a portrait shot of George.

George Micallef was well known on the theatre stage as well as on the small screen. The Valletta local featured alongside fellow actor Hector Bruno in multiple performances. George was undoubtedly an icon in the Maltese entertainment scene, and locals were shocked to learn that he passed away. George was 76 years of age at the time.
