Euronics, one of Europe’s largest consumer electronics chains, could soon be opening in Malta.
As revealed by WhoWho.mt, Euronics is planning to open a Maltese outlet within the db Group’s project in Pembroke, which is scheduled for completion later this year.
From the UK and Italy to Kazakhstan and Oman, Euronics has over 6,500 stores across 37 countries in Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa and Malta could be the next country to be added to the list.
Euronics stores are typically one-stop-shops for consumer electrical goods, selling everything from laptops, gaming consoles and printers to air conditioners, fridges and ovens.
It is set to open in a new shopping mall - St George’s Mall - that is being developed as part of an ongoing project on the former Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) site.
This shopping mall will also feature a PAVI-PAMA supermarket, as well as a mix of retail outlets, catering establishments, and dedicated parking facilities.
