Thank the heavens! Last week’s appeal for prayers seems to have worked, as Malta’s toughest triathlete champ is out of hospital and celebrating in the only way he knows how!

Jake Vella hit the pool with a 1.5km evening swimming session with his coach. The post he shared on Facebook has reached over 1k reactions and nearly 200 comments of well wishes from various locals.

Malta’s favourite little athlete has ROHHAD, one of the rarest conditions known to man. And even though he leads one of the healthiest lives (including running marathons), he keeps gaining weight because of this disease.
