Malta records its 13th Coronavirus-related death
The Health Ministry just announced the news.

An 89-year-old man has become Malta's 13th Coronavirus-related death. The news was announced minutes ago in a statement by the Health Authorities.

The man was admitted into hospital on 23rd August for "various health conditions." A COVID-19 test was done and resulted negative but was kept in isolation at Mater Dei since he "was in contact with a positive person in the community.

He was discharged from hospital on 31st August displaying no symptoms. "His condition worsened rapidly and once again came to Emergency where it was confirmed that he was COVID-19 positive. He passed away earlier today at Mater Dei."
