Madonna has OFFICIALLY signed the contract to perform during the Eurovision final!
It's confirmed! Israeli media reports that Madonna has now signed a contract that will allow her to perform as an interval act at the Eurovision Song Contest Final on Saturday.
The European Broadcasting Union has now signed a contract with the Queen of Pop, which means she’ll be strutting her stuff and voguing on the Tel Aviv stage.
Lots of security has been put in place around Madonna, including the installation of a new warehouse with its own catering and dressing rooms. Damn. But that’s not all. The singer has brought a 135 person strong team, as well as 30 tonnes of equipment for her performance.
A total of 25 professional dancers will be accompanying the original Material Girl on stage, as well as 40 backing singers, a director, choreographer and animators for the entire performance.
Up until a few hours ago, nothing was confirmed. On Monday, the Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision, Jon Ola Sand said, “The European Broadcasting Union has never confirmed Madonna as an act. We don’t have a signed contract with her team, and if we do not have a signed contract, she cannot perform on our stage.”
Judging by all the equipment and the huge team she’s brought along with her, we’re in for one heck of a half-time performance by the one and only Madonna!
Are you excited?
