38 new Coronavirus cases were reported over the span of the last 24 hours, bringing Malta's total number of cases up to 337.

25 of these are women, one of which is pregnant. A young boy is also among the new cases.

Over the same period of time, Malta also marked its first two deaths in relation to Covid-19; a 92-year-old Gozitan woman and a 79-year-old man. Currently, a total of 16 patients are in recovery.

Malta continues to push its testing capacity with 1018 swabs carried out since yesterday's press conference. The total swab tests now reached 13, 732.
