Carmel Vassallo might well be one of Malta’s most passionate Arsenal FC fans.

This week, the Naxxar resident was certified by Malta Records as having the largest collection of Arsenal FC memorabilia in the country, with a whopping total of 3,150 objects.

These items include scarves, kits, books, magazines, badges, posters, mugs, cups, video cassettes, statuettes, footballs, caps, wine bottles, plates, watches, card and sticker albums, shirts, bags, keychains, tracksuits, and newspapers.

He also owns authentic signatures and items dating back several years, with Carmel having inherited part of the collection from his late father.

Carmel’s achievement comes in the middle of an amazing week for Arsenal fans around the world. Arsenal lifted the Premier League for the first time in 22 years last weekend and they could very soon follow that up with their first ever Champions League trophy.
