BREAKING: Second Covid-19 death in Malta confirmed

The second Covid-19 death in Malta has just been confirmed.

The 79-year-old man was tested on 6th April after he displayed symptoms. Health Minister Chris Fearne confirmed the man had several health complications prior to testing positive.

The man was being held at Karin Grech Hospital and passed away during the night.

Our condolences to the man's family.
