Music

Tuesday 1st July

Violin and Pianoforte Duo

Polish musicians Justyna Zanko (violin) and Julia Miller (piano) present a recital at Aula Mgr Giuseppe Farrugia Hall in Victoria (Gozo) featuring works by Zarzycki, Wieniawski, Chopin, Smetana, and Dvořák. 

Vocal and Musical Concert

A musical celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Jesus by the Banda Cittadina 'Sliema', conducted by Mro Lesley Tabone.

Wednesday 2nd July

Pro Arte Trio Prague

Renowned Czech musicians Marie Fuxová (violin), Josef Klusoň (viola), and Jitka Vlašánková (cello) will perform an exquisite chamber concert at St Francis of Assisi Church in Victoria (Gozo) featuring works by Bach, Kodály, and Beethoven.

Thursday 3rd July

Symphony Nights

A celebration of musical harmony in Għarb (Gozo), uniting the bold sounds of brass and the delicate tones of woodwinds with powerful vocals.

Trio Colette

Chiara Telleri (oboe), Anna Lycia Gialdi (clarinet), and Cecilia Medi (bassoon) will perform a concert of works by Mozart, Ibert, Tomasi, and Ghezzi, taking place at Oratorju Don Bosco in Victoria, Gozo.

Sailors in the City

Set in the heart of wartime Malta, the show transports you to a time when music and stories lured sailors into Valletta’s most infamous street.

Friday 4th July

Ħondoq by Night

A magical night of music and atmosphere at Ħondoq Bay in Gozo, where flaming lanterns and dazzling light effects will transform the shoreline into a glowing spectacle.

Kirkop Summer Fest (runs till 5th July)

Two nights of live music, DJ sets, and great vibes!

Malta Metal Weekend (runs till 6th July)

Eden Arena Convention Centre, in St Julian's will ignite with electrifying performances from legendary acts Dream Theater, Opeth, and Apocalyptica, joined by the iconic Geoff Tate and local powerhouse Cemetry Skyline.

Saturday 5th July

ULTIMATE 80's

The BBC Concert Orchestra returns to the Floriana Granaries with 'ULTIMATE 80's', a high-energy celebration of the greatest hits from the decade of legendary music. 

Requiem for the Living

Dan Forrest's Requiem for the Living will be performed by T'għammar Amphitheatre in Għarb (Gozo) by Schola Cantorum Jubilate and its special guests - KorMalta, the national choir and the Orchestra Sacro Monte from Varese, Italy.

Sunday 6th July

Dream Theater 40th Anniversary Tour

An evening with the world-famous band at the Eden Arena in St Julian's.

Friday 4th July

MONOTONIJA

Award winning dance troupe THE MVMT (Concept of Movement) and choreographer Cheryl Lofreda take the stage of Pjazza Teatru Rjal to ask a number of self-reflective questions on present day’s busy lifestyle.

Thursday 3rd July

Gato Party

An evening of music, flavour, and giving back at a wine festival in aid of Dar Bjorn, at Villa Bighi in Kalkara.

Maltese Nights | Iljieli Maltin (also on 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st July, 14th, 21st & 28th August)

An evening of culture, history and entertainment at Valletta Waterfront’s Maltese Nights.

Farsons Beer Festival (runs till the 12th July)

Malta’s favourite summer celebration of beer, food, music, and fun!

Friday 4th July

Lejla Sajfija

A lively evening at St Thomas' Bay in Marsaskala, filled with children’s games, family-friendly entertainment, delicious food and drinks.

Valletta Local Food Festival 2025 (runs till 6th July)

Get ready to indulge in Malta’s finest flavours at the 4th edition of the Valletta Local Food Festival — a celebration of our island’s rich culinary heritage.

Saturday 5th July

PyroStars 2025 - The Legends

A grand pyromusical display in Luqa, which consists of several musical tracks synchronised to fireworks.

Fgurafest 2025

Enjoy an evening of singing, live entertainment, and delicious food in a lively community atmosphere, in front of the Fgura Church.

Lejla Maltija fil-Pjazza

Experience a Maltese traditional evening filled with folkloristic music, traditional food, and activities for the whole family. 

Festa Familja

A special cultural night on Tunis Street in Pembroke, celebrating the beauty of both Maltese and Chinese traditions.

Festa Sajf 2025

A fun-filled activity for the whole family in the heart of Mqabba.

Exhibitions

Thursday 3rd July

Two Moons and Two Suns (also on 4th, 5th, 7th-12th, 14th-19th, 21st-26th, 28th-31st July, 13th & 20th August)

An exhibition proposed by the Fictive Archive Investigations – a collaborative multidisciplinary, international project and working group, led by artist Claire Ducène, at the Malta Society of Arts in Valletta.

Friday 4th July

Cities & Memories (runs till 18th July)

Karm Serracino invites viewers on an intimate journey through time and place, expressed in delicate watercolours.

Saturday 5th July

Threads of What Remains (runs till 26th July)

An intimate artistic investigation by Katel Delia, a seasoned diver who has spent nearly three decades exploring the underwater world firsthand, taking place at the Wignacourt Museum in Rabat. 

Sunday 6th July 

Mystery and Modernity (runs till 8th September)

Il-Ħaġar Museum in Victoria (Gozo) shines a long-overdue spotlight on one of Malta’s unsung artistic pioneers: Carmelo Mangion (1905–1997).
