Soak up as much of the sunny skies as you can, because we’re sorry to say, more storms are heading our way mid-week.

In a Facebook post by Maltaweather.com, the weather site forecasts, “an African low-pressure system is expected to form midweek, creating instability over the central Mediterranean.”

Storms will continue to hit Malta and Gozo as of this Wednesday, with strong winds, heavy rain and a possibility of hail too. Other local weather portals we consulted also forecast showers throughout the week, with a windy thunderstorm set for Thursday, so it seems the doom and gloom is inevitable.
