Il-Forn Ta’ L-Għawdxi heads south! Marsascala outlet opens next week
Southern foodies, rejoice!

The iconic Gozitan ftira is making its way to Marsascala, as Il-Forn Ta’ L-Għawdxi expands yet again – bringing its much-loved, carb-loaded creations to the southern tip of the island!

Often described as the island’s answer to pizza (but thicker, heartier, and undeniably more satisfying), the traditional Gozitan ftira is a bready masterpiece usually topped with sliced potatoes, rich olive oil, and all the goodness you’d expect from a dish born to feed hardworking hands and hungry hearts.

Il-Forn Ta’ L-Għawdxi – literally translating to ‘The Gozitan’s Oven’ – has been at the forefront of popularising this delicious snack beyond the sister island. With locations popping up in Birkirkara, Bormla, Gżira, and Qormi, the bakery is now firing up its ovens in Marsascala, with the opening set for next week.

Beyond ftajjar with various toppings, the menu also includes a generous selection of pizzas, fresh pies, and other baked goods that have earned them a loyal following across Malta. Because let’s face it – good carbs are always in season.

Where do you want the next Forn Ta’ L-Għawdxi to pop up?
