Carnival is around the corner and that only means one thing – traditional sweets are being made! The iconic local café, Elia, are making a PRINJOLATA MILKSHAKE and we cannot contain our excitement. #JesusTakeTheWheel.

For those of you who don’t know what prinjolata is, it is a dome-shaped traditional Carnival sweet topped with nuts, cherries and chocolate. It gets its name from the word prinjol (pine nuts) used both in the filling and to decorate.
A prinjolata is delicious (and a total sugar rush) in its own right, so we can only imagine the damage and sweety goodness the prinjolata milkshake will do. Hey, we ain’t complain’!
Can anyone bring us a few milkshakes? TIA x
