Human testing on experimental COVID-19 vaccine to start TOMORROW
Oxford University aims to have the vaccine ready for distribution by September

Scientists at Oxford University will tomorrow be kickstarting human testing of a potential COVID-19 vaccine.

The study currently being carried out by the university aims to bring a viable solution to the market by September and has the government's full support. Indeed, the university is benefiting from a £20 million grant to carry out its research.

A similar study is also being carried out at Imperial College London, with human trials scheduled for June.

Although it takes months, and at times years, to safely test, produce and distribute a vaccine, the UK is pooling all its efforts to come up with a quick solution that may bring an end to this global pandemic.
