Hold on to your hats! Force seven winds and thunderstorms forecast for this week
Possible thunderstorms are predicted for Thursday!

Kim Vella

We hope you enjoyed last weekend's sunny skies because they won’t be lasting for much longer

That’s right - local weather page It-Temp Madwarna is forecasting some pretty whacky weather for this week.

The first half of the week, that is, from today until Wednesday, is expected to remain rather warm and sunny.

However, winds are expected to get stronger throughout the week, reaching highs of Force Seven between Saturday and Sunday.

The first half of this week, from today till Wednesday, is expected to be quite sunny, with warm spells and windless weather with Force three winds.

The weather’s also set to get colder and cloudier from Thursday onwards.

Whilst temperatures are set to reach highs of 24°C between today and Wednesday, these will get significantly colder (3°C colder, to be precise) between Thursday and Sunday.

Temperatures are set to drop to lows ranging from 13°C to 16°C throughout the weekend.

From Thursday, skies are also predicted to get cloudy and grey.

Weather

Meteorologists at the Malta International Airport have also predicted possible thunderstorms for Thursday with lows of 15° C.
