Exciting news for Malta’s aviation scene.

Emma Galea

Universal Air is a new Maltese based airline that will soon start operating direct flights between Malta and other popular European destinations.

One of the newly launched direct flights will be the Spanish party island of Ibiza! Currently there’s no airline flying directly to Ibiza from Malta.

Apart from Ibiza, the airline will be flying to Pécs in Hungary and potentially to Palermo in Sicily as well as Athens and Corfu in Greece.

When flying with Universal Air, you will be flying in Dash 8 – 400 airplanes, that accommodate up to 78 passengers.

The official inauguration of this new service will be held on the 14th March at the Phoenicia Hotel.

6th March 2024
