Heck no! Thunderstorms & autumn weather could head to Malta as early as AUGUST

Whoever said global warming in’t an issue needs to check themselves, and these mad weather forecasts are testament to it. Apparently, we’ll be getting autumn weather as early as August this year. X’inhu? Yup.

According to Malta Weather, “there’s a good chance we’ll be having an early autumn this year in Malta and Gozo with rain showers or thunderstorms as early as August,” they said in a recent Facebook post. But… but… what about summer?!

While quite a few locals will welcome the early autumn weather and are so over the heatwaves we’ve been getting lately, others are a little bummed about it, saying it will ruin the end of summer festivities and possibly even some local festas – a pity after a year of planning!
