Heads up! Temporary closure of Ta’ Qali and Marsascala petting farms announced
This measure is being taken to protect animal and human health.

Authorities have announced the temporary closure of the Ta’ Qali and Marsascala petting farms in accordance with Subsidiary Legislation 437.121, as a preventive measure to minimise the risk of spreading animal diseases.

This precaution comes as part of wider efforts to safeguard the health and wellbeing of animals, especially in settings where interaction with the public is common.

No specific disease has been identified in the public notice, and the measure is being taken strictly as a preventive step. Visitors are advised that both locations will remain closed until further notice, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

Have you ever visited the local petting farms?
