St John’s Co-Cathedral, a beautiful example of Baroque architecture, is one of Malta’s most significant cultural and historical landmarks. Originally built as the convent church of the Knights of St John, the cathedral is famous for its elaborate interior, which includes the awe-inspiring Caravaggio painting ‘The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist’. Visitors can also admire the intricate stonework, ornate chapels, and impressive architecture that reflect the rich history of the Knights.

If you were planning a visit during these dates, you’ll need to reschedule your trip. The cathedral is an unmissable experience, and we encourage you to explore it on another day!

For more details or updates, check St John’s Co-Cathedral’s official website or Facebook page.

Will you be visiting at Easter time?
