Heads up! Overnight road closures scheduled in Marsa for San Tumas pedestrian bridge repairs
Drivers, take note!

Francesca Vella

Infrastructure Malta has announced night-time maintenance works on the San Tumas Pedestrian Bridge, which crosses over Triq Diċembru 13 in the Santa Luċija/Marsa area.

The repair works are scheduled to take place during the night between Monday 28th July (today) and Tuesday 29th July, specifically between 11pm and 5am.

To minimise disruption, the northbound and southbound carriageways will be closed one at a time, not simultaneously. This means that while the works will inevitably impact traffic, some flow will be maintained throughout the night.

If you're planning to be in the area during these hours, it’s best to consider alternative routes or expect slight delays.

Stay safe and drive cautiously around any roadworks!
