Heads up! 11 localities are set to undergo planned power cuts TODAY

A few localities around the islands are set to undergo planned power cuts this week due to maintenance works on the country’s hard-at-work power grid.

Fortunately, Enemalta, our local electricity provider, has published a list of all localities that will be affected by these works. This way, you too can plan ahead.

These works are carried out regularly to ensure that the island’s national electricity grid operates safely.

Only select streets from the following localities will be affected.

Here’s the full list of affected areas: 

Today, Monday 13th June: 

  • St. Julians from 4.30am to 3pm 
  • Mgarr from 8am to 12pm 
  • Mosta from 8.30am to 2.30pm 
  • Qrendi from 4am to 2pm 
  • Zebbug from 8am to 1pm 
  • Siggiewi from 8am to 1pm 
  • Naxxar from 8.30am to 1.30pm 
  • Qrendi from 10am to 12pm 
  • Fgura from 6am to 1pm 
  • Kalkara from 7am to 1pm 
  • Gzira from 9am to 12pm 

Tuesday 14th June: 

  • Rabat from 4am to 11am 
  • Safi from 6am to 2pm 
  • Mosta from 8.30am to 1.30pm 
  • San Gwann from 9am to 2pm 
  • Valletta from 12pm to 6am 
  • Naxxar from 9am to 1.30pm 
  • Qormi from 8am to 4pm
  • Sannat from 8.30am to 2.30pm 
  • Siggiewi from 4.30am to 10am 
  • Zurrieq from 7am to 2pm 
  • Birkirkara from 4am to 8am 
  • Tarxien from 6.30am to 1.30pm 

Wednesday 15th June: 

  • Mosta from 8.30am to 1pm 
  • Msida from 8am to 2.30pm 
  • Luqa from 8am to 1pm 
  • Birkirkara from 7am to 4pm and from 9pm to 11.30pm 
  • Kalkara from 7am to 1pm 
  • Gharghur from 7am to 2pm 

Thursday 16th June:

  • Marsaskala from 9am to 1.30pm 
  • Fontana from 8.30am to 12.15pm 
  • Munxar from 8.30am to 12.15pm 
  • Naxxar from 8.30am to 1pm 
  • Birkirkara from 4am to 8pm 
  • Qormi from 6am to 1pm
