If you’re thinking of heading for a swim this afternoon but are unsure of where to go, we’ve got you covered. Here are the bays, as per It-Temp Madwarna’s suggestions, that are ideal for swimming in accordance with today’s forecast which includes Force 5-6 Northwest winds.

Malta

Ghadira Bay, St George’s Bay, Gzira Manoel Island, the Grand Harbour, Marsascala, San Tumas, St Peter’s Pool, Kalanka Bay, Pretty Bay, and Blue Grotto have all been marked as safe.

Gozo

The bays in Gozo which would be perfect for swimming include Hondoq and Xatt L-ahmar. They’ve also marked Santa Marija Bay in Comino as safe, too.

Others

It-Temp Madwarna marked the following bays in yellow, meaning that if you choose to swim there just keep an eye out and take care of yourself as things might get choppy. These bays include Dahlet Qorrot and Ramla Bay in Gozo and Ghar Lapsi, St Andrew’s, Sliema, Rinella and Zonqor in Malta.
