Friday afternoon dip? Most Maltese beaches marked as safe today
Malta Red Cross has marked most of Malta's main beaches as safe for swimming today

There’s good news if you’ve taken a long weekend and are thinking of heading to the beach for a quick dip.

The Red Cross has marked most of Malta main beaches as safe for swimming today, Friday 4th July.

Qawra Point and St George’s Bay have been marked as busy (although not very busy), while Balluta Bay has been closed to swimmers due to a sewage overflow.

All other beaches have been marked as safe and not busy, while no jellyfish or marine pests have been flagged anywhere!
