Up for a dip? Balluta Bay fit for swimming again
The public health warning against swimming at Balluta Bay has been lifted

Balluta Bay has been declared fit for swimming again.

The authorities had warned against swimming at the St Julian’s beach a few days ago in light of a sewage overflow caused by construction waste blockage of the sewer lines.

However, the Environmental Health Directorate confirmed today that repeated sampling of seawater from the bathing site over the past few days found that it is once again fit for bathing.

The health warning has therefore been lifted.
