Happy New Year to the environment! Local org plants 100 trees to ring in the new year
Way to go!

What a way to start the new year and new decade, we might add! Local environmental conservation organisation, Saggar started off 2020 on the right foot (or should we say, root).

Saggar announced on socials that another 100 trees have been planted. Now that’s a positive way to kick start the year, if you ask us! Saggar was launched nearly a year ago by the QLZH Foundation and ACT that promotes afforestation on the Maltese Islands since “the valleys and rural areas of Malta should be full of life,” Steve Mercieca, co-founder of the foundation told us last year.

Locals congratulated the organisation and also thanked them for their hard work which is “greatly appreciated,” as one local put it. It definitely is!

Great stuff, Saggar!
