Great stuff! Ghajnsielem community plants 150 trees at the beautiful Ta’ Passi Fields
This will definitely brighten your day!

Some great news today! The Ghajnsielem community, particularly the locality’s primary school students, the council workers and the Ministry for Gozo, has kickstarted the first stages of planting indigenous trees at the beautiful and well-known Ta’ Passi Fields.

The initiative will hopefully see a total of 150 trees growing in the area in the near future. “The aim is to enhance this beautiful field with trees while reducing air pollution from Imgarr Road,” the council said in a Facebook post.

It’s still early days, but we’re already envisioning a lush, green spot for locals and visitors alike to enjoy. This is the same spot where the annual Christmas event Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem takes place. We can only imagine the surroundings come Christmas, thanks to this initiative!

Kudos to everyone involved!
