The Ghajnsielem Local Council is condemning vandalism that took place at the beautiful Belvedere St Eliju over the weekend, sharing photos of the aftermath.

“The Council condemns the vandal act that took place this weekend at the Belvedere St. Eliju as signs and litter bins were thrown in the fields,” the Ghajnsielem Local Council posted on Facebook today.

“The Council is continuously investing in embellishing the locality so it’s a waste of time and resources to find such situations. Unfortunately the Council has no other option but to install CCTVs in this area at a great expense. Again we deplore this vandalism.”
