The Maltese Islands are in for a bright and sunny week, but windy days are not over yet! In fact, according to Maltese Islands Weather’s Facebook page, a persistent north-westerly wind will be strong at times until Friday 30th May.
According to Maltese Islands Weather, clear skies and sunshine will dominate the forecast, but the wind will be a key feature over the coming days. In fact, temperature will feel like 28°C throughout most of the week.
While the sun will provide plenty of opportunities for outdoor plans, the gusty wind, blowing at Force 5-6, may make things feel cooler, particularly in exposed coastal and elevated areas. The breeze, blowing from the northwest, will occasionally strengthen during the afternoons, potentially affecting sea conditions and outdoor activities that are sensitive to wind.
Despite the windy conditions, there is no significant risk of rain, and overall weather stability remains high.
As the weekend approaches, the wind is expected to ease gradually, giving way to calmer and warmer weather. Temperatures will rise slightly, feeling like 30°C, and with the breeze settling down, conditions will feel more summer-like — ideal for weekend beach days.
