From Malta to BAFTA! Stargate Studios nominated for Black Mirror episode
The recognition comes for the Special, Visual & Graphic Effects category.

Stargate Studios Malta has secured a nomination at the BAFTA Television Awards, earning recognition in the Special, Visual & Graphic Effects category for its work on an episode of Black Mirror.

The Malta-based VFX studio contributed to ‘USS Callister: Into Infinity,’ which premiered in April 2025 as part of the series’ seventh season. The episode stars Cristin Milioti, Jimmi Simpson, Billy Magnussen, and Jesse Plemons.

This nomination adds to the studio’s growing list of achievements, coming shortly after it received an Emmy nomination for its work the previous year.

The BAFTA Television Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in British television, with this year’s winners set to be revealed in May.
