Friday 11th June: Just 2 new cases for Malta & Gozo

The Health Authority’s Facebook page, Sahha, has published today's figures. Malta has registered twonew cases of COVID-19 after 1,817 swabs were done in the past 24 hours. 

The islands have registered five more recoveries, bringing the total recovery tally to 30,096 and the number of active cases to 64. Since the outbreak, Malta has recorded 30,579 cases and has performed 949,582 swab tests. Thankfully, no deaths have been registered over the past 24 hours meaning the local death toll remains at 419.

The post also noted that until yesterday, 10th June, 576,256 vaccine doses have been administered to various people on the islands. 334,367 of these were first doses while 251,553 people are now fully vaccinated.
