Fashion lovers rejoice! 6 autumnal trends spotted on Malta’s Instagram influencers
Counting down until payday...

Nicole Parnis

We just love autumn. And, by the looks of things, so do some of our favourite fashion influencers. Not only does the weather get cooler after a sizzling summer on the Maltese Islands, (I think we can all agree it's been a fabulous one, mind you) but it means you get to wear more clothes. Here's a few of our favourite looks from some of Malta's snazziest dressers. So bring on the boots, the flouncy shirts and leather mini skirts - hooray!

1. Purple Reign

All hail Queen T looking fabulous in London wearing Luke Azzopardi. We're getting massive Carrie vibes from that peek of tulle, and can we just just talk about that trench coat-dress? The length, the fit, the colour! We can see shares in grape-coloured fabric dye rising....

2. The Baker Boy

Alexander Stefano, aka "The boy with the beret" has shown us all the power of a good hat. Or ten. The model of the moment has been seen and photographed in many a baker boy cap, including his fabulous metallic gold one, for the evenings of course! We're digging this heavy tartan one. Oh, and do we spot another trench coat?

3. Stylish Sportwear

Shop owner and stylist Parys, naturally from Paris, has graced us all with her gorgeous Sliema boutique, Atelier Arya. On her personal Instagram, she's educating the masses on how to style her full-sleeved romantic blouses, as well as a more urban look. Check how she rolls up her sweater sleeves and finishes the look with tartan (hello again!) and a mini 90s bag. Voilà!

4. Chic Culottes

Rock it like Lexie! One of our fave Maltese fashion bloggers just cannot wait to fall into autumn weather! She's swapped her cropped camisoles for ruffled polkadots paired with tailored culottes and an open-toed suede mules, and accessorised with a heavy buckled belt which hits that cowboy trend spot! And can we just talk about that Valletta backdrop? We're taking notes...

5. Back to Cool

Trust Sarah Zerafa to show us how the cool kids do it! Let's break it down. We've got a limited edition Parascandolo Pride tee knotted into a crop top, high waisted tartan trousers for that St Trinian's cheekiness, a cutesy topknot accessorised with a vintage silk scarf, Balenciaga style kicks and that all-important Parascandalo canvas bag. Perfect for plastic-free vegetable shopping!

6. Getting Shirty

What other way to get up-to-date with the latest trends than by having a snoop on Insta at one of Malta's leading stylists? Follow Malcolm Gauci's lead and have the best of both worlds in a preppy long-sleeved Oxford shirt paired with with sporty black shorts! Who knew this was a thing? We do now, and we hope to see this menswear trend catch on. We'd also like some of those fries.
