The Malta Amateur Dramatic Club (MADC) has announced the passing of one of its most cherished members, Alan Meadows, leaving a deep sense of loss within the local theatre community.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, the club paid tribute to Alan, describing him as a selfless and loyal member whose contributions spanned various vital roles.

Over the years, Alan became an integral part of MADC, bringing joy and laughter to audiences, particularly through his unforgettable performances as the Dame in Pantomime. Beyond his on-stage presence, he also played a key leadership role, having served as Chairman of the club.

Alan was widely respected for his dedication, passion for theatre, and the support he provided to fellow performers and crew members. His presence was a source of strength not only for the club but also for his family, particularly his beloved wife, Nella, to whom MADC extended its deepest sympathies.

The local theatre scene has lost a true stalwart, but Alan’s legacy will undoubtedly live on through the countless performances, memories, and friendships he helped create.

His impact on MADC and Maltese theatre will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him.

Condolences to his loved ones and to everyone at MADC
