The Malta Tourism Authority and the town’s local council have finally launched the ‘The Ħaż-Żebbuġ Heritage Trail’.

Such a project aims to give tourists and locals alike a chance to explore Ħaż-Żebbuġ’s cultural and religious history.

This will be implemented through a variety of new and different signs guiding explorers. A number of pamphlets and maps with further information on Ħaż-Żebbuġ’s sites of interest will also be provided. Further information will also eventually be available on the official Visit Malta website.

Such heritage trails will continue to draw the attention of tourists to lesser-known areas of Malta that are still worth visiting.

Some of the cultural and historical landmarks included are Wied Qirda, the Dejma Post and the Parish Church, among many others.
