Ex-Risette chef Andrew Borg announced as head chef at new Iniala Hotel in Valletta

Maltese chef Andrew Borg, who has made a name for himself leading the kitchens at iconic Valletta restaurants Risette and Black Pig, will be the head chef at the new Iniala Hotel in Valletta, which will be opening its doors later this year.

This was announced at a press event unveiling part of the amazing new hotel this morning. Hotelier, entrepreneur and brains behind the project Mark Weingard explained that the Iniala Hotel will be a flagship for Malta, and chef Andrew Borg will form part of this vision.

Andrew Borg has made a name for himself as one of Malta’s top chefs, and is known for adding flair and soul into everything he whips up, creating the best of dishes for hungry customers.

Andrew and Mark are currently testing the concept that they’ll be serving at the hotel’s rooftop restaurant, which boasts amazing views of the Grand Harbour, showing one of Malta’s gems in all its glory. “I’m really excited to be involved in this project, and I can’t wait to start cooking again,” said Andrew.
