Qotna is a free public event that explores weaving as a generative act, where material, gesture, and knowledge intersect. Positioned between the domestic and the collective, weaving is approached as a cultural and social language that encodes memory, identity and resistance. Through shared practices, discussions and displays, the event reflects on how textile-making shapes spaces of care, labour, ritual, and belonging. Set within the Xewkija Windmill, Minn Qotna invites participants to engage with weaving not only as craft, but as a process of cultural continuity and transformation - an act of holding together threads across time, bodies, and communities.
