Le Baiser de la Fée (The Fairy’s Kiss) is a neoclassical ballet composed by Igor Stravinsky in 1928, with a revised version released in 1950. This ballet is based on Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Ice-Maiden” and pays tribute to Ilyich Tchaikovsky by featuring Stravinsky’s arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s melodies.
Scriabin’s mystical philosophy is reflected in Le Poème de l’Extase, a symphonic poem that expresses spiritual ecstasy and transcendence through its complex harmonies and powerful emotional intensity.
