Being an island in the Mediterranean, Malta celebrates the fishing culture on a great scale and Marsaxlokk being one of the most famous fishing villages, is proudly hosting the Malta International Fish Fest. The festival is a lively celebration aimed to celebrate the island's deep-rooted maritime heritage.A number of educational stands will be set up promoting traditional fish typically caught in local waters, such as sea bass, sea bream, tuna, dolphinfish, dogfish, and rays.
