Festa Gheneb is an activity for the whole family that aims to celebrate the harvesting of grapes from the vineyards located in Siggiewi. Siggiewi has the largest number of vines with 530,000 square metres of vines. For this year's edition, attendees can expect free entertainment for children and live music and singing from local artists filling the evening with their melodies and performances. There will also be a display and sale of a large variety of grapes and wines. Nonetheless, food will be available with traditional Maltese foods available such as bread with oil, pastizzi, mqaret and thorned eggs as well as other foods made from grapes. A wine competition is being organised for those producing wines in small quantities at home with prizes to be awarded on the night of the event.Save the date!
