In the first exhibition of works by leading Maltese abstract painter Alfred Chircop since his demise in 2015, the curators have brought together around seventy works by the artist and his most notable contemporaries. The exhibition, divided into different themes, contextualises Chircop's continuous struggle in his perpetual creative quest, and draws parallels between his works and those of other artists, while creating unexpected dialogues between works created in Malta, Italy and England. The exhibition, includes a reconstruction of the artist's studio together with other photographic, sound and video documentation.
