Between Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th January 2025, the Dominicans of Vittoriosa will celebrate the closure of the Jubilee of St Thomas Aquinas. The Dominican Order around the world during these two years marked the 700th anniversary of the canonization of St Thomas as well as the 750th anniversary of death. This year is commemorating the 800th anniversary of his birth. Pope Francis gave the plenary indulgence to all those who take part in the celebrations related to this Jubilee. The Aquinas LectureOn Monday 27th January at 19:00, in the Dominican Convent of Birgu, the Aquinas Lecture will be organised by Rev. Dr. Alan j. Adami OP STh.D.
Solemn PontificalOn Tuesday 28th January a pontifical mass will take place celebrating the feast of St Thomas Aquino. The mass will end with the singing of the Te Deum.
