Here are all the recommended spots to swim at today.

Summer might be drawing to a close, but the weather’s showing no signs of cooling down.

That can only mean one thing – we’re still in time to enjoy the beach!

According to local weather page Maltese Islands Weather, 27 beaches around the Maltese islands are safe for bathers today.

 Beaches and bays considered ‘safe’ are generally free from jellyfish, rough seas, debris, and anything else that can serve to harm swimmers.

With that said, here are all the recommended spots to swim today, 16th September:

  • Marfa
  • Ramla l-Bir
  • Little Armier
  • Armier Bay
  • Mellieħa
  • Imġiebaħ
  • Mistra Bay
  • Paul's Bay
  • Qawra
  • Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq
  • George's Bay
  • Sliema
  • Rinella Bay
  • Ġnejna Bay
  • Għajn Tuffieħa
  • Golden Bay
  • Anchor Bay
  • Paradise Bay
  • Wied il-Għasri
  • Xwejni Bay
  • Qbajjar
  • Marsalforn
  • Ramla l-Ħamra
  • San Blas Bay
  • Daħlet Qorrot
  • Dwejra
  • Dwejra Inland Sea

On the other hand, the following beaches are not recommended for bathers:

  • Marsaskala
  • Thomas Bay
  • Ħofriet
