Does our natural environment have a future? Heritage Malta launches new series of talks
They will be held at the Natural History Museum in Mdina.
We all know that our environment needs to be protected for future generations, and Heritage Malta has set the ball rolling. This month, on Friday 18th January, the National Museum of Natural History in the medieval city of Mdina will be launching a series of public talks and discussions presenting various themes related to Malta’s natural environment. And you can have your say!
The series will focus on the biological diversity present on the Maltese Islands, and the conservation issues that are constantly affecting the archipelago. Attendees will view a number of interesting videos about the local flora and fauna, alien species and loss of habitat, followed by a discussion and refreshments.
The first meeting will include an original 30-minute documentary in English providing insight into different Maltese natural environments.
The event will be held in the Activity Hall within the National Museum of Natural History in Mdina, which is housed at the prestigious Vilhena Palace found just on the right as you enter the city’s main gate. The event will be held from 6:30pm until 8pm. Entrance is free but donations are appreciated.
