Do I still need to wear a face mask once Malta’s public health emergency status is lifted tonight?
After nearly four months, Malta’s public health emergency is being lifted.

Tonight, after what seemed to be the longest few months of our lives, Malta’s public health emergency status is being lifted. Having said that, certain guidelines still need to be followed to ensure that you and those around you are safe. #Respect

“Masks and visors are still to be used in shops and other areas according to Public Health guidelines after Public Health Emergency ends tonight,” says Gerald Fenech of Gerald Fenech Covid19 news updates. “Social distancing also applies,” he noted.

So if you’re heading to your local grocery store, attending mass, or going on a shopping spree (among other places), don’t forget your mask or visor. Mr Corona is still among us, so it’s wise to keep adhering to social distancing measures and precautions. We’re doing so well so far, so let’s keep up the great work!
