1. The Malta Experience

The Malta Experience was Malta's first audio-visual experience and remains a popular option. A combined ticket gives you also a tour of the Sacra Infermeria, the hospital of the Knights Hospitallers of St John. Finish off with a snack from the cafe on the bastions of Fort St Elmo and get a souvenir from the gift shop. Visit also the Malta National War Museum at Fort St Elmo.

2. Valletta Living History

When in Valletta, along with your shopping and coffee break, squeeze in a 35-min audio-visual history show that's right in the heart of Valletta. Valletta Living History is shown at the Embassy Complex and presents in brief the in-depth story of Malta's capital, from the era of the Knights of St John to the present. It's certainly worth knowing a little more about this European Capital of Culture 2018.

3. The Mdina Experience

In Malta's old capital, The Mdina Experience takes you on a journey through time. Re-live the triumphs and tribulations of the old Capital City in the times before it became known as the Silent City. Entertainment meets fascinating history as you discover the story of Mdina.

4. The Knights of Malta

Also in Mdina, The Knights of Malta audio-visual show takes you on an epic adventure experience. A unique series of expertly reenacted scenes tell the original tale of life in the times of the Crusader Knights of Malta, including special effects, dramatic lighting and aromas.

5. Malta 5D

Attracting curious people of all ages is the Malta 5D show, which takes learning history to another level. Enhanced with leg ticklers, air blasts, scents, water spray and moving seats, the experience is a full immersion of the senses beyond time and space; a truly amusing way to become acquainted with Maltese history and culture!

Whoever said history was boring?
