Did you feel it? Earthquake measuring at 4.6 on Richter scale felt throughout Malta & Gozo
The earthquake occurred early in the morning!

Early this morning, at 5:20am to be precise, some people in Malta and Gozo were woken up from their sleep as an earthquake that measured up to 4.6 on the Richter scale hit the Maltese Islands.

The earthquake occurred around 30km under the sea while its epicentre formed around 115km away from the Southwest of Malta, the Facebook weather page ‘Temp Madwarna’ reported.

Zejtun, Bormla, Attard, Mosta, Hal- Tarxien, Marsaskala, San Gwann and Floriana were some of the localities were many reported feeling the tremors.

This is not the first earthquake reported in Malta during recent months as just last November a 4.4 magnitude earthquake was also recorded.
