Destiny is the favourite among Eurovision journalists following last night’s Jury rehearsal
Those media members accredited by the EBU has the chance to vote for their favourites during the Eurovision process and can decide which top 10 songs can qualify to the Final. Following last night’s rehearsal in front of the Jury, it seems that Malta is the favourite among the Eurovision journalists to get through to Saturday’s Final after tonight’s Semi-Final performance.
According to Gwida.mt, one of the accredited media members, voting has been open since Sunday and it’s updated the more journalists cast their vote.
Due to the pandemic restrictions, this year there are two types of journalists: those physically in Rotterdam and those watching live online from their homes. There are two voting systems: OGAE Online Press Vote and the one being organised by escXtra. So far, it seems that Malta and Cyprus are head-to-head in the journalists’ voting to win tonight’s Semi-Final.
While this doesn’t mean anything concrete, it still shows that Malta’s performance is fairing well among international journalists. Well, have you heard her? Truly #DestinedForGreatness.
Best of luck to Destiny and the entire Maltese delegation for tonight!
